Nimesh Mohanakrishnan
Product Designer
I'm someone who:
thinks in systems and designs in code with LLMs,
has shipped software products in early-stage, fast-moving startups,
believes that failing fast is the fastest way to grow,
and wonders "Why send a gallery when one line of text will do the job?"
Currently, an MS HCDE student at the University of Washington, Seattle.
Previously, designer at RozieAI.

About

My Origin Story
It’s hard to trace a single moment that led me into design. Maybe it began with childhood drawing classes or years of playing cricket that shaped patience and perseverance. More than anything, I think it's my fascination with observing people, systems, and processes - and the urge to make them work better.
Design shows up for me in many forms, but at its core, it’s about intentional craft, intuitive yet deliberate decision-making, strong judgment, translating ideas into visual narratives, and knowing when to hold a point of view and when to let it evolve. I'm good in exercising few of these factors, and I'm continuously learning and improving.
How I work
The best designed tools are invisible and disappear into workflows.
Interfaces are only one layer of the experience. Workflows, incentives, and systems shape the rest.
Minimal design always wins.
